Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R) is the educational wing of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, a centuries-old centre of spirituality and social welfare. Inspired by the vision of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji and carried forward by the seers of the Math, the Trust has grown into one of the largest educational networks in the state.

Education is the greatest gift one can offer society — a lamp that, once lit, dispels the darkness of generations.
Our institutions owe their very existence to the vision of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the 71st pontiff of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. A seer of rare foresight, he believed that true upliftment begins with access to knowledge — especially for the rural and the underprivileged.
In 1974 he founded the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R.), planting the seed of what would grow into one of Karnataka's largest educational movements — schools, pre-university and degree colleges, and institutions of engineering, medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy and management. BGSCET and its MBA programme stand as proud heirs to that enduring legacy.
